I too thought it was cheese. As posted below, I looked at google images and artemesia seems a better match than tarragon.

I just looked them up together. Turns out tarragon is a species of artemisia. The type of artemisia called wormwood or absinthe caused hallucinations but it also had a tonic effect. It was quite bitter. The tarragon in my yard doesn't flower. I love using it in omelettes.

Ha-ha. That's the song all right.
Since soap used to be made with fat, I wonder if it has any nutritional value. Now don't start eating it for lunch to test that one out! I can see the menu at your house now. Grilled soap on toast.

Looked like cheese to me until I read about it before I did the puzzle.
