I loved this puzzle. It was difficult but it definitely held my interest. I love the chickens, stripes, records on the wall and that old phone. Everything clashes, giving me areas of distinct similarity to work with.
I agree with you, manatee, I loved all of the distinct areas. I liked doing the straight stripes, the curved stripes (pillows), the orange and gray mural, and the tea set separately, then putting them all together.
I love the rooster tea set. I've inherited my a love of roosters and chickens from my mother and grandmother. They both were attracted to them, perhaps for nostalgic value. I remember chickens and roosters from my great aunt's home long ago. They were always there. I remember it was such a novelty seeing a different animal beside a dog or cat. I was very young and it was my first introduction to farm life.
Too many things for one room. Spread it out to 3 rooms then might work. Reminds me of the one not too long ago that had the same records on the wall. Neat old tea set. Just in wrong room.
