This is an online jigsaw puzzle for both kids and adults. This image shows the Tieldsund Bridge in Norway which connects the mainland to the Lofoten Islands.
Made me think of the Golden Gate. I didn't know until about a year ago that a smaller prototype of the Golden Gate was built in Oregon before they tried to span San Francisco bay.
Another piece of trivia - as a boy, my father saw parts of the Golden Gate being built. He used to travel by ferry to Oakland to visit his brother who was in the children;s hospital there. My dad passed away in 2013.

Sorry you lost your Dad but it sounds like he lived a good and long life.

Yes, he did, sisgp. Died at age 88 after experiencing more than I ever could. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
Nice bridge. Info on it: It is a suspension road bridge that crosses the Tjetdsundet strait between the mainland and the island of Hinnaya in Norway. The bridge is 3, 304 ft long.

So true! Tabby goes Wednesday for blood tests for her thyroid. She is doing well. You would never know she was sick! Have had no problems at all with her. I have been reading on Facebook in the thyroid group and they have all had loads of trouble with their cats. NOT ME! She has never given me any trouble. Usually takes her medicine mixed up in food she likes.
