Nice. I have never heard of "threaded" anything, so it was interesting and I learned a little about something that I had no idea existed. A little new knowledge is good thing to acquire each day. Have a lovely peaceful day filled with love, joy, beauty, and many, many blessings, received and given.
These remind me of craft projects at Girld Scout meetings and camps. We'd wrap yarn in all different directions around a shape, like a star or these hearts. The star became a photo frame and it went well with my dorky 6th grade picture. My grandmother treated it like it was something really valuable - and perhaps, it was to her.

Well said. I think about learning something new all the time. Glad to hear that someone else says it out loud. Bravo.

Aknan I am sure nothing about you has ever been "dorky". Hugs.

No, my dear, I was truly a dorky 12-yr-old - an overweight girl with rather unruly hair and turquoise cats-eye glasses frames. The only thing I didn't have was braces, TBTG! Things started to get better at 13, but when the world ws idealizing Twiggy (remember her? ), I was still considered fat...at 5"7" and 145 lbs, shaped very nicely. Just the wrong time for me...

As you, aussie, and all the great people on this site brighten my day! Thanks!!
Elijah13, I'm curious about your weekly meals that you cook and freeze. I'm considering doing something like that to make food prep easier. Can you tell me how it works? I usually make a large amount of something and eat it throughout the week, but I think prepping individual meals would work better. Do you just do dinners? Something different for each night? Do you freeze in containers or on section plates? I'm just curious so I could try something like that for myself.

I use plastic plates from years ago from Armour Dinner Classics or the like, I did chicken and steak the other day--5 chicken drumsticks done in the oven, then used instant mashed potatoes and a vegetable, I then cover with plastic wrap and a cover--could use a paper plate if you like and freeze them. I then take the meal out of the freezer around noon time so it can thaw by dinner time. You could put a salad with it if you wish. I do the same for the steak--broiled it in the oven. Hope this helps. If you have more questions, just ask.

This is very helpful! Thank you. I'm going to try the same process. I might add the salad element. I'm sure this will make things much easier for me. It sounds simple and manageable. I'm so glad you could help me with this!

Lilbc, I have also seen covered sectioned plates designed for freezing in my grocery store and even in Walmart; might be worth checking out. I don't remember them being expensive, either.

Thanks aknan! I've been looking into those, too. Either way I think my plan will make things a little easier for me. I'm glad to have such good advice on C4J!
