Anybody know what this fish is called? I should know...and yes, it is lovely. God must have had so much fun designing all the fish and birds and butterflies...and the duckbilled platypus!

I have often thought that the duckbilled platypus is proof that God has a great sense of humor!

Orinoco- I think it is some kind of butterfly fish from my quick google search. Wonder if this is a coincidence or C4J timed this puzzle with the release of "Finding Dory" which my kids went to see last night.

Orinoco, I've looked and looked on the web, and all I could find was "yellow striped fish" (duh! ). One site classified it as freshwater, another saltwater. There are species with similarities, but I couldn't pinpoint it.

He put a face on the moon. That's pretty funny, too.

Vmarie look at Jamie T's or my post below. It's a copperbanded butterfly fish. Go to google images and type that in and pix of this fish will appear.

I had never seen a real duck billed platypus until several years ago and was surprised at how small they were. Apparently when the early explorers came to Australia and sent a report of these animals back, no-one believed them lol. God bless and lots of hugs.

True, in fact at the top of the bill there is a flap of skin with marks on it that look like poorly-done sewing, so the Royal Society was convinced the explorers had stitched them up in more ways than one!

Australia has quite a few interesting animals, the duck billed platypus (the males have a toxin from a claw), kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, Tasmanian Devils, koalas, etc.

Pixipixil, thanks! Butterfly fish was one of the species I had considered. Blessings!
Oh, but how relaxing it can be to watch them do nothing but swim. Gives me permission to do nothing but watch. Mesmerizing!

Anyone else watch the show "Tanked" on Animal Planet. I'm amazed at some of the tanks they come up with, and it's always a joy to see all the fish swimming in their new homes.
When I was young I Scuba Dived among fish like this. It was so beautiful and relaxing. I even played with a spiny puffer fish. So cool when it puffed up in my hands.
