Calgon!!! Take me away PLEASE!!!!
Had some trouble with hubby last night. His stomach has been bothering him in that everything he eats causes it to hurt. I made him his favorite BBQ chicken wings last night and he could not eat them. He said I overbaked them and they were too dry. I made them the same way as always. I had all I could do not to lose my temper. In my mind, all I could think of was getting a long stiff drink and I haven't done that in several years.
Make sure he gets his self checked out, mamag. You never know what's going on when that type of thing happens. I hope that you too have a super week. Hugs!

I know how you feel mamag15. I am my husband's full time carer and sometimes I feel like running away. He is 82 and has vascular dementia plus some mobility issues. Sometimes nothing I do is right according to him! It can be very hard as I am 80 and have some arthritic problems of my own. However, I do get carers in morning and evening and can get out each week when someone from Crossroads, an English charity. comes and sits with him for three hours. I have been very blessed in my life so I shouldn't complain! Hope your husband is OK.

Thank you all for the support. We got into a fight last night over my cooking again. I have been doing this for 40 + years and it seems like I cannot do anything right. He was saying some really ugly words and he has not been like that since he was saved 4 years ago.I wish I knew what was going on.He did apologize but the damage had already been done. I did not lose my temper, again, but just sat and cried trying to explain that everything I do is to make him feel better and not worse. I would have someone be with him for a while but I feel so guilty leaving him with someone else. Thank you all for the prayers.

Mamag15, how has your husband been? Has he seen a doctor yet? I'll keep praying for him.

KNadine, Joe sees the Dr. in March. He has been getting short winded even with the oxygen. His sugar has been climbing over 200 but we are trying to get it back down. Joe says thank you for the prayers. No one in our family ever asks how he is doing, even when I call to check on them, especially our daughter and his father. It is so sad. Our son never calls either. I love the people on here as you are all caring and understanding. Have a blessed day.

Is your husband diabetic, mamag? That's a tough one to address. My husband was diabetic 2 and addressed it through diet and exercise. That means he didn't need insulin. Joe in in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the doctor can help to sort that out. Warm wishes to you and Joe, mamag. Hugs!

Thanks Taffi. His sugar went down a little bit this morning. He is on insulin. He takes over 100 units a day. It is hard for him to exercise because of the COPD and emphysema. This is all starting to get on his nerves because he can't do much of anything. Thank you for the warm wishes and prayers. He appreciates all of them. God bless.
