I've done this puzzle several times, and when that last piece goes in, and the lines disappear, it's like I've never seen those flowers before, and am in awe of them! The colors are just so brilliant and alive. I know I'll be here again and again.
I don't like tulips, as they cause me many problems, so I prefer Daffidols. have tons of them in my yard and they are progressing very well this year. But thanks staff for a challenging puzzle again.
Hi Cindy, there is a beautiful story about a woman (imn the US I think) who has a property with thousands and thousands of daffodils she has planted which began with one bulb. Now they cover many acres and is an amazing sight when they are all in bloom. Outside her cottage door she has a sign with answers a couple of questions people always ask her. Perhaps if you google daffodils you will be able to find the story. Hugs.

Thanks for the heads up about the daffodil lady. I looked it up and it was quite interesting.

I would love to have more tulips, but they are hard to grow here, they will usually come up the first year, but don't come up again.

Some animals eat and enjoy them. Which is why I like the daffies.

Living in a city, don't have much problem with that just cats or dogs, we have just gotten squirrels in the last few years. Our one cat was raised in western kansas and he had never seen a squirrel and we finally had one show up here just before he died, he spent days just laying on the patio watching it.

I'm allergic to them. Horrable time breathing.

Cindy and aussie, I found the story aussie was talking about in the post regarding daffodils. It's on you tube and called the daffodil principle. There's pictures of the 5 acres, and it's a sight to behold! One bulb at a time!
Love tulips but wouldn't buy them to plant because don't care for bulbs. Have one plant with bulbs and didn't do anything with it and it seems to be doing just fine. Might have flowers by Christmas--they are amarillas (sp probably not right).
