I have surgery for removal of cancer cells in my breast. It was discovered with my mammogram this spring and thank God they found it. My surgery will just will be taking out the "bad" cells and the surgery will be only about an hour. Ladies, do your mammogram every year. It can save your life. God bless!!
Yes! Go have that mammogram. It also saved my life - TWICE! We have 3 daughters and we root for them each year around their birthdays. Good for you nhoward. You have many years in front of you to live and enjoy!

I am so disappointed by medical personnel deciding that older people should not have medical screenings for breast, colon or other cancers. It can lead to treatment that will give us healthy years ahead.

You're in my prayers and thoughts, nhoward. I have had a couple of those surgeries, and I know how stressful it can be just waiting for the results. Fortunately my results were good, but they were able to locate and remove a lump where I didn't even know was there was one. And I'm still alive! God bless you too, Howard!
