I always wanted a pocket watch but could only afford the modern-made cheapies. I don't think this is an antique, or at least not a very old one. These days, anything made before about 1970 is considered "vintage." On the BBC antique shows they say we owe the wristwatch to WW1--nowadays most of my students don't even wear a watch, they use their phones for everything.
I took time to watch the reactions and comments for this puzzle.

I think it is now time to quit. Time is too precious to waste. One day at a time and things will be better. I need to say that often through the time of my day.

Yes ParsonWayne, like many other puzzlers, I had some time on my hands to do this one, but alas, my time was no so good. I'll have to "watch" myself and try to do better next time. (~. ~)

I've been watching all of you. Wait a minute. Hour puzzles are sacred to us. I'll clean your clock if you don't watch yourself! Stop! Watch! Time waits for no man.
Pretty nice looking modern adaptation of what used to be a real art form. Silversmithing is almost a lost art, as is the amazing intricacy involved in old pocket watches. The new digital versions are useful, and often cheaper. But...
