Free online jigsaw puzzle of two humpback whales with their tails out of the water. Whales are sometimes identified by the pattern of the tail which is unique to each animal.
This just popped into my head:
I hate commercials because they are always telling us what to do, what to eat, what to drink, what to wear, what vehicle to drive, even what medicines to take. Did I mention I hate commercials?
Have a wonderful commercial free day.
Why do commercials seem to be so much louder than the program being watched?

A commercial can be broadcast at the sound level of the loudest part of a program (even if that part is only for a couple of seconds), hence the assault on our eardrums!

I just mute those commercials which are so annoying, but then there are some I enjoy because they make me laugh. Hugs everyone.

I always hit mute when the commercials come on. My mom used to ask if I turned up the volume and then she later heard that the volume on the commercials are intentionally turned up.

We employ our mute button during all commercials.

Thinking of an assault on eardrums--today a medical practitioner (Dr's assistant) gave my knee a steroid injection. He looked like a high school kid. And he thought because I had grey hair that I was therefore hard of hearing. I endured it, but I considered shouting that he must have ruined his ears listening to loud music, that my ears were just fine.

Globug, if I could wring some of the junk info out of my brain, I might have room for all the other things I need!

Maybe that is one of my problems aknan. If I could get rid of the junk in my brain, maybe then I can retain some of the information for my school work.
I've seen them close up! I've even seen them bubble feed - it's a rare form of feeding. You can watch it on Youtube - the whale dives down and comes up and blows air into the water. This forms a ring on the surface - this scares the fish into a ball. The whale dives down and comes up with it's mouth wide open. I was on a cruise in Alaska and it occurred really early like 6:00am. At the time I was sick with an upper respitory bug. The staff had it and they were in close contact with us. Our family was told that a week before another passenger came aboard with it and made them sick. One staff member disappeared for days and then one am she finally appeared and my mom asked about her. That's when she told her that she's been sick for 3 days in bed with the bug.

Definitely a life-fulfilling bucket list item! I was blessed to get to go on a whale-watching tour in Puget Sound one summer. (I've told this story before, so I'll "Reader's Digest" it! ) Three Orcas decided to check US out, so we got to see them up really close! (Like within a few feet! ) It's a feeling that's phenomenal!

I sing Christmas songs all throughout the year. (Drives my oldest daughter kinda batty which is a short trip, but I digress.) When my kids were young they asked me why I sign Christmas songs all year and I told them that Christmas is my favorite time of the year and, in addition to that, it's hard to feel angry or discontented when singing a Christmas song. Or, to look at the glass half full, singing those songs give me peace and comfort.
