I love Vincent's works - he created so much work in such a short period of time. There's a Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam that has drawings and paintings. There's so much of his work there that I found it overwhelming.
Vicent is my most favorite painter. I have loved his works from childhood. It's funny because I can relate in some ways to him. I am bipolar and they feel looking at his works of art that he saw the world in a different way due to some sort of mental illness.
When my daughter was 9 years old we went to Washington D. C. A Van Gogh exhibit was showing there. The lines were incredibly long. Definitely worth the wait! Though Van Gogh was a bit unstable, his malady was epilepsy. Over time the occurrence of seizures was so great that his brain couldn't function. Of course back then physicians didn't know enough about the brain or epilepsy.
This doesn't look like the wheat fields I grew up around, way to hilly country!
