Online jigsaw puzzle of an adult wild boar with two piglets. Wild boars are found throughout Europe and Asia and in smaller areas of Australia and North America.
I wonder if this photo was taken at a zoo or someplace similar. Wild boars are very protective. I don't think boars (the pig-like animal, not bores) are actually indigenous to North America. When the European explorers were checking out the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico Coast, they brought pigs with them and many of them got loose. Wild pigs/hogs/boars in North America, like the Razorback, are descendants from those pigs brought over from Europe. It doesn't take that long, from what I understand, for pigs to become feral.

All God's creatures are beautiful. But I gotta' say, some are more beautiful than others! Fun puzzle though. Wonder if we'll have a duck-billed platypus this week. How about it staff?!?
I think we met this family one day a few years ago
in a Texas State State Park. We had stopped at a
pullover spot to have our picnic. They came out of
the wilds and let us know we were not welcome to
this spot - needless to say we scampered back into
the car and watched them from there. Very protective
mother, but interesting to watch up close & safely.
