This is a really good photo. I love the way the tree limbs frame the leopard. Love all the big cats. Small cats too for that matter except the one that has no fur. That one's too creepy looking.
Hi peterpan, haven't seen you around in a while. Hope all is ok.

Dear trynfindit many thanks for your message. The reason I haven't been around much is because at the moment I am suffering with very bad depression. I'M seeing someone from the Metal health team. Will keep in touch. XXXX.

Dear peterpan, I pray that you are able to find good results with your mental health team. I suffered from depression and was in a private hospital for a short time. My doctor asked me to describe how I felt and I told him I felt like I was sitting at the end of a VERY long, very dark hallway and at the far end was an open door with light shining through it. I came to realize what all of that represented.
Warm hugs to you.
Not too bad on only 2 and a half hours sleep. Don't ask me why. I just couldn't go to sleep until about 12, 30 AM and then I was awake by quarter of three. I have limited caffiene (two cups of tea first thing in the morning, that's all), I take melatonin and eat 2 kiwis before bed. But once every 2 weeks or so I simply can't sleep.
Since Jan 1 of this year I have read over 200 books. I read a lot...but sometimes I need to sleep, too. I read until 12.30 AM, slept until 2, 45 and it was all over.

I like to read too, usually about only 100 per year, but also like to puzzle, and do son's & our accounts, plus clean house, help w/the yard, groceries & etc. I only sleep about 7 hrs. so that helps. Got cold here yesterday highs only in the 40's and a fierce n. wind had to change for a/c to heat better today wind is down but still cold.

It's 89 right now here in Tucson, with the expected low of 59 tonight. We just hit the 50's this week. It's been a hot summer, and I love this time of year. You are one busy woman, CatLady! I get into "seasons" where I love to read, especially series. I go from one book to another and eat them up like a feast! lol Then, I'll go another year or two without reading another book.

Cold here in Texas too! I read a lot too! I didn't when I was younger, couldn't comprehend well so took me forever to read a chapter and would tire. Now, thanks to my mom who soaked up books better than water. I read lots and love it! Just another gift she gave me before she passed this past February. I miss her!

February's really not so long ago, no wonder you miss her! You're still going through your year of "firsts." God bless you, puzzle, and may He be a continual Presence in your life.

Orinoco, try leaving off the kiwis and just take the melatonin. I know the kiwis are probably supposed to help but I've found that eating anything right before going to bed actually gives my body energy that keeps my mind going when I need for it so slow down.

I agree trynfindit...eating w/in 3 hours of bedtime forces your body into digestion mode and isn't recommended for a good nights sleep. I also find that I sleep better after I've had at least some exercise during the day. Good luck orinoco!

Our weather is crazy this time of year, we had a hard freeze last week so now getting leaves falling down like crazy. Today it is suppose 70 for the high, the two days in the 50's the back to the 70's; next Sunday it's suppose 79. We just to have back and forth with the a/c & heat!!!
Great photo. Puzzle took a lot longer than I expected. I used to have aleopard coat and hat. I think the coat was fake but the hat was real...in the days before it was taboo (which it should be). I recently made an over coat (it fits over my car coat) of fake leopard.
It's very warm for our inteminable NYS winters. So far the cold weather has held off. I don't know if that's good or bad but I'm grateful. No snow bunny here!
Wishing you "cozy fires to keep you warm and shelter in the storm
but most of all when snowflakes fall I wish you love".
