I had never realized how much the stripes vary in size, for instance how small they are on the face compared to the widest ones on the belly. A good way to start the day, learning something new!
Can you imagine, with all the things God does, he took time to paint these beautiful stripes. It is one of his marvelous miracle's.
It is a cold, windy, rainy day. My cabinets are pretty bare and I'm trying to decide whether to bundle up and go to a fast food and bring something home or to have crackers and coffee or cake and coffee or get in the freezer and unthaw something and dirty up the kitchen or what. Any idea's?
I'm all for the cake and coffee to go with the fast food.
I've always found it fascinating that the stripes on zebras and tigers go all the way to their skin.

Hi Jingles, I cook up a batch of onions and tomatoes and that makes a nice meal on buttered toast. Or another quick meal is scrambled eggs and a mix of canned vegetables, even chick peas. Hope you enjoyed whatever you decided. Hugs.
You know these zebra always all look the same, but I wouldn't mind betting that their stripes are as individual as our fingerprints.
"Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens." ~ Kahlil Gibran
"The attitude we adopt is our choice and determines whether our thoughts, and corresponding emotions and actions, are empowering or self-defeating. Our motivation may include success, power, pleasure, possession, control and so on. But the highest motivation is love, and that light will erase the shadows of fear and take us through all the world can throw at us." Peter Shepherd
You're right about the stripes; they're as individual as fingerprints. Which is helpful if you're working on a game reserve, I bet!
My bestie kidnapped me Sunday and took me to a safari park with her kids.We rode the little "scenic railway" (not a railway but a tractor pulling charabancs) and there were big signs saying NOT to put your hands out to the zebras or offer them food--they bite!
The giraffes, however, were very sweet. I had quite a conversation with one, a young female. I spoke to her in English and she responded as if she understood me. Maybe she came from an English zoo.
